Project Overview
Cookology is the UK’s #1 tabletop appliance brand, built with WooCommerce and WordPress using a custom theme and plugin development. The site leverages ACF Pro, allowing for a modular content management approach across all pages, making updates seamless and efficient.
Beyond standard eCommerce functionality, the site implements Klarna for flexible payments and Student Beans for student discounts. It features fully custom WooCommerce templates for the product listing, product detail, basket, and checkout pages, ensuring a tailored shopping experience.
The site includes several key areas, such as a Help Centre, Contact Pages, Product Registration, and Account Pages. Additionally, a Trade User Sign-Up system was implemented, allowing trade customers to receive discounts based on their overall spend.
Cookology also integrates with third-party services for affiliate marketing and stock management, enhancing business operations.
During my time managing this site, I worked closely with marketing and design teams to implement CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) changes through a staged approach over the year, improving user experience and boosting sales.
